I will always remember her for being proper, tidy and loving.  Mother had an incredible faith in God, love for her family and willingness to help wherever needed.

She also had an incredible sense of humor that would spring up at the darnedest moments and surprise us all.  She often related stories from her childhood about the misadventures of her beloved brothers and sometimes herself.  How brother Ed took her to a dance at Gilbert High School.  Picking blueberries and blackberries, eating many of them before they reached home.  Bottled catsup that scared them when it exploded from the heat.  The infamous bow and arrow accident.

Then there was the musical side she played the piano and organ serving as choir director in Riverton and Barkhamsted Congregational churches and at the church in Pasco where we lived for twenty years

She shared her love with all who came into her life including the daughters of Resemann Gibson whom she married later in life.  Yvette still remains in touch with us.

Mother was the strongest person I know surviving the loss of my sister MaryAnne, several miscarriages and then the radiation burn that hospitalized her for six months one hundred and thirty miles from her home and family.
