Although known throughout her life as Harriet, her father's family Bible refers to her as “Hattie” both at her birth and at her marriage. They had five children: Twin girls,[4401] Mary Emily and [4402] Gladys Harriet, died in their teens and an unnamed twin of [4403] died at birth.
