[4404] George Elbert Day 4/23/1902-12/29/1966. m.(1)Dorothy Miller Snow(1926) and (2)Margaret Coulter (10/8/1942).
George and Margaret were farmers. He also worked at a local sawmill and was well known for his hunting skills. He had to be a pretty good shot with a rifle because he was handicapped at an early age. He and his older brother Willie were playing cowboys and Indians. George poked his head around the corner of the house just as Willie let go an arrow. It cost George his eye.
George and Margaret lived all their adult lives in South Londonderry, VT. Margaret still lives at the old homestead.
